I really want a pet cat. Plus i think i might have a light insomnia (getting a pet is a good treatment) . But my parents are disagreeable. My mum is babysitting a baby 3 month old ( can ê cat harm the child’s health??) . And my dad is afraid that all the cat’s fur will like stick on to their bedsheets and clothes (he thinks cats are dirty).

Are there any alternatives? What should i tell them? im paying for all the cat expenses not them.
